FBF Representatives Attend Unilever’s 2nd Life Pakistan 2.0 Startup Challenge for Waste Innovation

Every day, Karachi’s coastline receives 8,000 tons of waste, including plastics, via the Orangi drain and Lyari river. Recognizing plastic waste as a critical environmental issue demanding collective and youth-driven solutions, Unilever Pakistan has collaborated with SEED Ventures and UNDP for the 2nd Life Pakistan 2.0 startup challenge. This initiative empowers young innovators to transform waste into opportunities. This year’s challenge attracted nearly 200 entries, with 30 shortlisted startups benefiting from expert mentorship and participating in jury rounds. Having successfully concluded its latest event, 2nd Life Pakistan is now positioned to scale up its efforts for sustainable impact.
